6 months…that’s long but also very short, especially in New York City…

When I arrived for my first day of work in the White Plains office of Jackson Lewis, I didn’t know what to expect. I wanted to make a lot of things, I wanted to learn and I wanted to be useful for the firm. I also wanted to live an amazing personal experience. Did I make all those things? I hope so.

Professionally, I had the chance to learn so many things: I’ve been to a deposition, mediation and a trial to the Court. For a French trainee lawyer, it was so interesting to discover another legal system. I’ve assisted Jackson Lewis attorneys concerning immigration and international matters. Also, I’ve written an article with Carrie Jabinski about differences between French and American termination process. Through L&E Global, I’ve met many lawyers from different countries such as Mexico, China or Canada.

Personally, I’ve lived one of the most important experiences of my life. I’ve met so many different peoples, in and outside the office which have made this adventure unique. I will never forget it. For the last time, I really want to thank all the people who’ve made that possible specially Claire Toumieux, Stephan Swinkels and my mentors in NY Bill Manning and Steve Baderian for their kindness.

Now, from the Flichy Grangé Paris office, let the new adventure begin!
