“C´est Fini”

After four months as a legal intern at L&E Global it is time to say goodbye. During my time here, I have had the opportunity to learn firsthand about the international legal environment, particularly with respect to cross-border employment law matters. Similarly, I have had occasion to collaborate with a multitude of international lawyers who have taught me the different ways to work across jurisdictions, such as Canada, Mexico, Brazil, France, Germany and other key regions of legal and economic activities.

I have gained significant experience, both professionally and personally from this internship. I have also been able to acquire knowledge regarding the various needs of clients. This is particularly important considering that we live in an increasingly globalized world. As such, there will always be different social, cultural and economic demands. Working at L&E Global, I have realized that if you work hard, together with a marvelous team, it is possible to provide solutions to all clients, irrespective of where they come from.

It has also been a real pleasure to have the chance to live in a city like Brussels, where day-to-day I was in contact with people from all over the world. Furthermore, I was able to visit numerous museums and to enjoy film and music festivals, gastronomic fairs and a variety of activities that the Belgian lifestyle offers. In addition to Brussels, the surrounding cities of Bruges, Ghent and Leuven are truly remarkable. Believe me when I tell you that the cultural richness of this country is indescribable.

Last, but not least, I would like to thank the L&E Global team for the opportunity to work with them over the past few months. I know that it is not a “final goodbye” but rather “see you soon”!
